Layerwood Production is investing in a new engineered wood production plant in Kohtla-Järve, Estonia. The €29 million project will bring advanced wood industry technology and more than 60 highly skilled jobs to Ida-Virumaa.
Led by Egert Parik, the factory will operate according to Industry 4.0 principles. Fully digitalised production, automation, autonomous forklifts and intelligent data systems will enable productivity comparable to leading Scandinavian plants.
